Marketing Strategy

Why good businesses still get no enquiries

Gerard describes a client with a problem that looks nothing like a marketing problem. Their brand awareness was strong. People who met them praised the work. Once they got into a room with a prospect, they closed. The gap sat in the middle, between being known and being contacted. Nothing in their marketing asked anyone to make an enquiry. Fractal launched a Meta retargeting campaign with a lead form on it. The budget was small, the targeting was tight, and the enquiries that came back were high quality. The offer behind them was plain: have a discovery call, have a chat. Gerard also takes on the objection he hears constantly from business to business sellers, that their market is not on Facebook and Instagram. The lead quality in this case said otherwise. His point applies to anyone selling B2B, B2I or B2G. Check whether you have a mechanism that actually asks the question. If you do not, put one in.
